Rachel Stern began studying yoga at age 2, took a 20ish-year break, and rediscovered the joys of a consistent, ever-evolving yoga practice over the past 20-something years.

Rachel believes that yoga is an inquiry into your whole being, encouraging students to experiment with movement and breath to unlock the inner wisdom of the body and spirit. She believes that the best yoga you can practice is the yoga that feels good in your body, invites more self-love and compassion, and helps you discover your own authentic expression. She honors that we are both exactly where we need to be, and always in the process of growing. Rachel encourages students to challenge themselves while being mindful and respectful of their personal limitations. Her classes blend deep somatic awareness, playful skill building, and joyous fun, and will invite you to take your yoga practice off of your mat and into your daily life.
Rachel also offers life coaching sessions and puberty education classes, and she is deeply inspired by the intersection of these modalities with the practice of yoga.
