Alignment Focused Flow
In this dynamic and multi-layered yoga style, students build inner and outer strength and have a joyful time doing it. Flow based, poses will be linked together in vinyasa styled sequences, though longer holds may be practiced, and certain poses will be broken down to reveal the hidden gems of self knowledge and empowerment stored within them. Between the elegant principles of alignment, and a heart-based philosophy grounded in your every day world, you'll be surprised to discover what you're capable of. Please note: **This class is heavy on verbal instructions, good to know if you prefer a quieter class**
All Level Hatha Flow
Hatha Flow classes connect asana (postures) and breath through gentle warming movements, strength and awareness building flows, and restorative openings. Attention to alignment, personal inquiry into sensation, breath work, and fun are emphasized. Classes are neither competitive nor dogmatic. Students are encouraged to practice at their own pace in order to develop a clearer connection to their inner wisdom. Hatha Flow differs from our Vinyasa classes with less emphasis on sun salutations and transitions, yet pace and intensity depends on style of teacher. Classes are appropriate for beginners as well as intermediate students.

Happy Hour Pilates Mat
This all levels class incorporates Pilates Fundamental movements while introducing intermediate exercises. These exercises provide a foundation for building core abdominal strength, stability, and flexibility that Pilates is famous for!
Happy Hour Vinyasa
The word Vinyasa means flow. The asana practice itself is dynamic, focusing on the movement of the breath and the body and the synchronization of the two. Flow is attained by setting a personal intention for the practice, linking the breath to the movement of the body and staying mindfully connected to the body not only in the postures, but also in the transitions. Our Vinyasa Flow is a fun class with sequences from various schools of yoga. Cultivate inner awareness while building strength and flexibility. The level of intensity depends on the style of the teacher. Please note: **Vinyasa classes tend to be fast paced with shorter holds**
Hatha
In the context of modern asana practice, the general term Hatha has come to be used to describe a more classic approach, a one-pose-at-a-time style class, with focus on alignment, anatomy, body mechanics, and mindfulness. Students will work on both postures and breathwork to achieve strength, balance and flexibility in their practice. Hatha classes differ from Vinyasa classes because students will spend more time concerned with each individual posture.
Restorative Yoga and Anatomy: (Held in small studio)
Restorative and meditative body awareness classes that focus on anatomy and the embryological origins of anatomy. Each class has a specific focus that is introduced as a brief anatomy or embryology lesson and then further explored through meditation, free movement, asana, and partner or group work. These classes are open to all levels of ability and experience. In these classes individuals will gain further insight into subtle energetic patterns of yoga asana and will experience deeply restful and healing approaches to movement and body awareness. Mondays are focus on anatomy, Wednesdays are focus on embryology and developmental patterns.

**Please note: Held in the Northeast Studio Annex. Please enter on 30th, between Cup and Saucer and LMT.
Saturday Night Donation Class!
The third Saturday of every month join Melina for an evening donation-based all levels class. All donations will go to the Portland area division of the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI).
Vinyasa & Restorative
This class is infused with classical yoga teachings, breath awareness, detailed alignment and meditation. We will begin with dynamic movements to warm and loosen the body. The last part of class will focus on restorative and yin yoga postures to open the hips and spine and invite the mind and body into a state of rest.
Vinyasa Flow
Vinyasa Flow 2
A faster paced, vigorous Vinyasa class that challenges the experienced yogi. Explore more advanced postures while focusing on alignment for greater precision in your practice.
Yin Yoga
Classes involve a relaxed practice of floor postures that are held from three to five minutes at a time. There are far fewer postures or asana in the Yin style of yoga as are found in more active styles. Although Yin yoga is a more passive practice it can be quite challenging due to the length of time postures are held. This Yin yoga class is open to all levels of students and is a perfect compliment to a Yang or more active style of yoga such as Vinyasa Flow.
**Suitable for those with injury or limited mobility.
