Thursdays, March 6th-April 24th
Northeast Second Studio

Cost: $80 members, $96 non-members, $13 drop-in

(Up to two missed classes can be made up at Practice Lab, or at any of Alison’s mixed level classes at People’s)

This series is a story lover’s heaven. We’ll start wayyyy back before we ever started and go wayyyy further than we’ve ever gone. I’ll tell of the re awakening of the pine forest sages by Shiva’s impassioned burlesque. I’ll share the secret reason behind the perpetual re-imagining of the universe by Nataraja (here’s a hint – she has many names and many moods, and all of them are you). We’ll meet a little known but anything but insignificant gender bending deity, dedicated to perpetuating the universe in sometimes surprising ways.

We’ll choose two poses as a group to focus on for our eight weeks together, as a way in to the whole pantheon of poses.

Level 2. Alignment heavy. Notebooks welcome. This class is supported by an ongoing Facebook group you may use as you like to ask questions, review material, and get inspired.
