Adult Yoga Camp

Last year was such a success, we are bringing it back for even more fun!
 
Please join Rachel Stern for The People's Yoga second annual Adult Yoga Camp!
 
This day-long workshop will take your playful yoga practice outdoors, with new friends and other fun camp activities. The day will begin with ice-breakers and a centering yoga practice. We will be treated to a healthy lunch catered by Eatin’ Alive Raw Foods. Around 4pm we’ll venture back to The People's Yoga NE for a restorative yoga session and closing ritual.
 
Come join the fun! Ages 18 and up.
 
Preregistration is required.

Level 1 Yoga Foundations for Bigger Bodies Summer Series

Yoga for Bigger Bodies comes to our Southeast Studio! This is a shorter series to accommodate your Summertime schedule.

This series is open to all shapes, ability levels and sizes. This is an inclusive and nonjudgmental class that emphasizes Health At Every size, body acceptance and joyful movement. There is no weight requirement and everyone is welcome.

Yoga for bigger bodies is a gentle yoga class that provides mindfulness, self-care, and mind/body/spirit connection. This class will provide you with tools that will help build strength, flexibility, and confidence not just physically but also mentally.
 
Cost: $47 before June 1st, $57 after

Level 1&2 Yoga Foundations for Bigger Bodies Summer Series (Northeast Second Studio - 4940 NE 16th Ave)

This is the same sweet series, just a bit shorter to accommodate your Summer schedule!

Level 1 & 2 is for the practitioner who has familiarity in a yoga class. Classes build on the foundation of our level 1 series. If you are looking to add a bit more heat into your practice but still looking for the gentle and supportive environment, this is the class for you. As always, there will be plenty of variations in poses and options for a variety of levels. There is no weight requirement and everyone is welcome.

Turn it Upside Down: An Inversion Lab for Yogis of All Levels with Alison Alstrom and Kate Busby (NE Second Studio, 4940 NE 16th Ave)

Yup, inversions.

You know they are good for you - did you ever wonder just how to make the most of them?

Join Alison Alstrom and Kate Busby for three, two hour classes, where we'll look at alignment, preparatory work, strengthening and opening strategies for Headstand, Handstand, and Shoulderstand. Restorative inversions and forearm balance may also make an appearance.

Come, learn, work, play like a child would - upside down!!

Open to yogis of all levels.
