she/her

I started my yoga journey 20+ years ago not knowing that it would one day be the friend that carried me through intense losses, divorce, heartache, eating disorder recovery, miscarriages, pregnancy, motherhood and all the ups and downs life has had to offer. Yoga has been a significant part of my journey toward a kinder relationship to myself, to my body, and to life as it is. I now work individually with clients and small groups using a somatic approach to trauma resolution and nervous system regulation. My passion is guiding others toward an embodied experience of self compassion. In my classes I blend yoga asana, somatic practices, gentleness and curiosity to befriend and regulate the nervous system. I believe yoga can cultivate an overall sense of ok-ness in a world that often doesn’t feel ok.

My yoga journey began with 10+ years studying Iyengar yoga with Anna Delury in LA. I later became certified in Kripalu yoga and studied trauma informed yoga with Hala Khouri. I have continued to learn and study while traveling, living and teaching in India, Southeast Asia and Central America. I feel grateful for the teachings of Dr. Arielle Schwartz, Peter Levine and Tara Brach. I am currently completing Somatic Experiencing training and continue to seek new ways to grow and connect to a sense of inner peace and Big Love.
