The People’s Yoga Scholarship Fund:
By being a member of Peoples you are helping to ensure yoga is accessible to our whole community!  $5 of every Peoples Yoga Membership goes toward our scholarship fund which helps those in financial need afford classes, as well as offsets continuing education costs for our teachers. Over the next three months we will offer scholarships to more than 35 students students, totaling over $2000 in aid.  Our community remains a unique, diverse, inclusive, welcoming space because we believe yoga is for everyone and you help support the programs that make our mission a reality.

Event Discount:
TPY Members receive 10% to TPY events, such as workshops and series. This discount does not apply to visiting teachers, retreats, or teacher training.

Free Mat Rental:
Yup, free mats if you are a member!

MEMBERSHIP TERMS:

Contract Period:
Please note, the initial time commitment for the membership is 3 months, after which you may cancel at anytime. If you do not cancel after the first 3 months the automatic payments will continue to be deducted until you ask for the membership to be canceled.

Please note: Memberships will not be canceled and refunds will not be given during the initial 3-month period.

If you would like to cancel after your initial 3 months, cancellation notice is required 2 weeks before your next monthly payment. You may provide this notice by emailing ContactUs@thepeoplesyoga.org. For example, if you are scheduled to be charged July 1st and you want to cancel for the month of July, you must submit an email to ContactUs@thepeoplesyoga.org by June 15th to avoid being charged on July 1st.

Refunds will not be given if you decide to cancel after a payment has been already been deducted.

The standard monthly membership is $85 per month for unlimited classes at all of our locations and online. Students who have the means and choose to contribute more to our shared practice may choose to opt in to the $95 Supporter or $108 Enthusiast membership.

Vacations/Suspensions:

Memberships can be suspended/placed on hold. You must notify us 2 weeks in advance. You are allowed 3 suspensions per year. They must be at least 2 weeks in length and maximum hold is 6 months.

Please note, you may not suspend your auto-pay indefinitely – a reactivation date is required. If you’re not sure when you’d like to reactivate, you’ll need to cancel the auto-pay and re-open a new account when you’re ready.

Membership suspensions must be requested by email (members of our work-trade desk staff know how to complete this request and cannot do it for you in studio). Send your email with the suspension dates you’re requesting to contactus@thepeoplesyoga.org.

Unused Time:
There is no refund for unused time on memberships, and there are no extensions. Once a student signs up it is their responsibility to use the membership to their satisfaction, or else cancel it.

Those who are uncertain about their ability to commit should consider buying 5-Class Pass or 10-Class Pass instead of a membership.
